Masjid management software that runs the whole masjid from one login.

Ummah is the portal a masjid uses to run events, members, donations, prayer times and programs in one place, with a free member app that comes with it. Free to start, $19 a month for Basic with a website we build, and $75 a month for Advanced with everything bundled: the kiosk, TV displays, vendor booth maps and donations at 0%.

30,000+ Muslims and 3,000+ communities on Ummah

Most masajid run on six tools that do not talk to each other.

A WhatsApp group for announcements. Eventbrite for the fundraising dinner. Givelify or a PayPal button for donations. A spreadsheet of members that one brother keeps on his laptop. A website that was last updated when the previous board left. Each one works on its own, and none of them knows what the others know.

So nobody can answer the simple questions. Who came to the last three events. Who gave last Ramadan and has not given since. How many families are actually members. The board meets, someone remembers a number, and the decision waits a month.

Ummah is one portal for the board and one app for the community. Events, members, donations, prayer times and programs share one member list, and it is free to start.

Events

Every event, from the flyer to the door.

Create the event once and the page, the tickets, the reminders and the check-in come with it. The events hub shows everything upcoming in one table or on a calendar, and past events keep their attendance.

  • Create an event in three steps: details, tickets, categories
  • Free events carry no platform fee on any plan; paid tickets carry 3% on Free, 1.5% on Basic and 0% on Advanced
  • A QR ticket in every registration email, scanned at the door from any phone
  • Sponsors, vendors, volunteers, multi-session schedules and prayer times, switchable per event
Every upcoming event with its date, place and cover, in one table.
The member directory: membership, tags, reachability and joined date for every member.
Members and CRM

A member list that fills itself in.

The directory builds from what people do. Anyone who registers, enrolls or gives becomes a member with a profile, and the people you need to reach are a tag away, so an announcement goes to the weekend school parents and not to everyone.

  • Attendees, participants and donors become members automatically
  • An approval queue with the join questions you set
  • Free and paid membership tiers, billed on your own payment gateway
  • Staff roles per person and an audit log of every staff action, on Advanced
Donations and donor CRM

Every gift attached to a name you can call.

Campaigns with live totals, recurring giving, and a donor CRM you own. Giving history sits on the member's profile next to attendance, which is what makes a stewardship conversation possible before the next appeal instead of after it.

  • Campaigns with live totals, one-off and recurring gifts
  • Every donor, gift and recurring plan in one list, with giving on the member's profile
  • A donation widget for the website you already have, and the Ummah Kiosk on a tablet you already own
  • Refunds and donor contact from the portal; donation management is on Advanced, at 0% platform fee on Advanced
Funds management in the Ummah Community Portal: monthly totals, active campaigns and recent donations in one view.
Adhan and iqama for the whole month, published everywhere at once.
Prayer times

Set the iqama once. It shows up everywhere.

Adhan is calculated from your method and offsets, and is already live on 1,900+ masajid. Iqama is yours to enter, for the month, in one table, and it is published to your Ummah page, the app and your website widget at the same time.

  • Calculation method, offsets and per-prayer overrides, set once
  • Adhan and iqama for the whole month in one editable table
  • Multiple Jumu'ah times listed for masajid that run more than one
  • The same times on your public page, in the app, and in a widget for your own website
Programs and classes

Classes and courses, with their own enrollment.

Programs run alongside events: a Quran class, a weekend school term, a six-week series. Each has its sessions, its price and its roster, so the teacher sees who is enrolled and the parent registers once.

  • A program with sessions, a price and a refund policy in one form
  • Roster, attendance and messaging per program
  • Families register once for the whole term, not week by week
  • Free programs carry no platform fee
Classes and courses run alongside events, with their own enrollment.

Questions

Free is $0 a month with a 3% platform fee on paid tickets, and free events are never charged. Basic is $19 a month at 1.5% and adds analytics, the marketplace, advanced widgets and announcements. Basic also includes a website we design and build. Advanced is $75 a month, billed annually, at a 0% platform fee, and bundles everything: donation management, the Ummah Kiosk on a tablet you already own, TV displays on the TVs you already own, vendor booth maps, event automation, a dedicated account manager, full data migration and API access. There is no hardware to buy. Payment processing is charged separately by the processor.
The ticketing site, the donation button, the members spreadsheet and the official WhatsApp group. Events and tickets take over from Eventbrite or a Google Form, campaigns and the donor CRM take over from a PayPal button and a spreadsheet, the feed and announcements take over from the group chat, and the directory replaces the list that was true the day it was made. Your accountant and your general ledger stay where they are.
Yes. Prayer times and donations embed into the site you have as widgets, and every event, program and campaign has its own public link you can put anywhere. If you want a new site, we design and build one on your own domain, with prayer times and donations pulling live from your portal. It is included on Basic and on Advanced.
A masjid that wants prayer times, a public page and its first event can be live the same afternoon. For a full move we run a named program called 14-Day Live: Foundation on days 1 to 4, Soft Launch on days 5 to 9, and Sunrise on days 9 to 14, when the whole community is invited in. Guided onboarding comes with Basic and Advanced.
It is your data. Members, registrations and donation records export whenever you want, with no export fee. Money never sits with Ummah; ticket and donation payments run through the payment account you connect, so the funds land with you. Advanced includes full data migration in, and nothing stops you taking the same records out.
No. Members can register, pay, join and read announcements from the web. The app is free on iOS and Android and adds push notifications, tickets in one place and Discover Nearby. 30,000+ Muslims already have it, so some of your community may be on it before you are.
MOHID is cloud management software and donation kiosks used in over 1,000 mosques, built around its own hardware, with the kiosk sold separately; Ummah includes its kiosk and TV displays in the $75 Advanced plan and runs them on a tablet and TVs you already own, plus a shared member app. Masjidbox describes itself as an all-in-one solution with digital screens, a website, donations and its own app, used by 2,500+ mosques. Both comparisons are on this site, line by line: Ummah vs MOHID and Ummah vs Masjidbox.
