On every paid event ticket or donation processed through Ummah, we take a small platform fee. Free plan: 3%. Basic: 1.5%. Advanced: 0% — you keep every dollar. Compare to Eventbrite (~6% + $1.79 per ticket) or Luma (~5%).
No. The Free plan is genuinely free — start your community at community.theummah.io with no card. You only add billing when you upgrade.
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade any time from the Community Portal. Annual plans get a discount on the monthly rate (talk to us for terms).
No. Every plan includes our 14-day live onboarding program at no additional cost.
Yes. For large masajid, conferences, or networks of organizations, we build custom plans on request. Contact us for a quote.
We use Stripe for billing — every major card, plus ACH bank transfer in the US. For donations from members, we support card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and (for kiosk events) tap-to-pay.
For Muslim organizations, we are dramatically cheaper. On a $1,000 event, Eventbrite takes ~$100 in fees, Luma ~$50, Ummah Advanced takes $0.
